What I am up to now...

This month, I am preparing for this year's solo exhibition at Walford Mill Craft Centre in Wimborne. It is called Up The Garden Path. The theme for most of the works I am exhibiting will be a bit more floral this time. Living in a flat without a garden of my own, I have developed a proprietary interest in other green spaces and adopted these as my own surrogate spaces. Most of these are within easy reach of my home but might seem strange choices to some. For instance, the Minster churchyard in Wimborne, full of sunshine in the best of summer is my coffee spot of choice and I often sit there admiring the tree shapes and shrubs that surround me. Kingston Lacy, National Trust property with its stately grounds and formal gardens is a home from home for me. There's the Priest's House garden in Wimborne too and Durlston Castle and Ventnor Sub-Tropical Gardens. All these are my gardens so calling the exhibition Up The Garden Path is not so misleading after all!
